Proud to be a participant of the exhibition ‘The Spark of August Sander‘ @033fotostad with 10 40×50 #tintype portraits from 30.07 till 20.09 The spark of German portrait and documentary photographer #augustsander (1876 – 1964) has been transferred to Dutch portrait photographers such as #koosbreukel , #eddyposthumadeboer , his daughter Tessa @posthumadeboer and @hansdekort , who show their work in this exhibition. August Sander is known as one of the most important German portrait photographers of the early twentieth century. He saw the task of photography to provide a truthful, objective representation of reality. August Sander firmly believed that someone is marked by the time in which he lives and that he could show this as a photographer. Remarkable is the balance he achieves in his photos between the person portrayed as a type and as an individual. The exhibition features photographs by other portrait photographers who share Sander's way of truthful, pure portraits. Photographers with whom the spark has jumped. We are very happy with additional work by leading photographers such as: #koosbreukel , @hansdekort, #eddypostumadeboer and Tessa @posthumadeboer #portraitphotography #portraitphotos #portretfotografie #portretfotograaf #portraitphotographer #amersfoort #033fotostad
